UD Coursework

In November of 2014, after two years of online learning, I completed all 11 courses offered by The Center for Inclusive Design and Environmental Access (IDeA) at the University at Buffalo.  It was stupefying to find out I was the first person to receive a certificate for completing them all.

As a virtual learning program, I studied alongside people from a multitude of professions from around the globe.   We were all there to learn one thing, how to make the world a better place for people to live by changing the way environments are designed and developed.

Since its inception in 1984, the IDeA Center has remained a leading site for research, design, service, education and dissemination activities related to universal design.

The IDeA Center has consistently received major grants from the National Institute for Disability and Rehabilitation Research, U.S. Department of Education.

All this being said, I highly recommend the program to anyone out there looking to learn more about Universal Design.
