Why are these words relevant to a universal design movement? Because if we are talking nationally about building a culture of health, then"building" is where we need to start--using these words as talking points.

Think about it this way: When people in building and real estate development industries nationwide become AWARE of the national health problems and negative socio-economic impact brought on by exclusive designing and building practices, recognize their ACCOUNTABILITY for the poor health and chronic conditions brought on by the barriers created by the outdated practices that contribute to the lagging statistics, and then take ACTION to make the changes that will raise the standards for the rest of US, the chances of health equanimity increase dramatically.
